History
In November 2001, The Abernathy MacGregor Group in New York and Los Angeles, Maitland in London, and Euro RSCG Omnium in Paris (today Euro RSCG C&O) joined forces to focus on corporate and financial PR for cross-border M&A, IPOs and other global financial transactions under one international brand: AMO International Financial Communications (AMO).
Shortly thereafter, HERING SCHUPPENER, the leading financial communications advisors in Germany, joined AMO to form a critical link to one of the most important European capital markets.
Over the years, AMO has met the growing requirements of its international clients under the chairmanship of Jim Abernathy in New York and an executive committee including Stéphane Fouks in Paris, Angus Maitland in London and Ralf Hering in Düsseldorf.
To this end, AMO has worked and continues to partner with carefully selected premier agencies in other global markets. In 2005, the market leader in Spain and Latin America, LLORENTE & CUENCA, joined the network, as well as most recently, in October 2007, the leading Swiss communication consultancy Hirzel.Neef.Schmid.Counselors.
